Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach fourth grade students, who are eager to learn and continue their learning journey. My students love participating and using technology to learn, practice, and assess their knowledge. My students have an active imagination and are "out of the box" thinkers when it comes to their Science and Math activities. In my classroom, students are encouraged to think out loud and show their personality through their work. My students are truly amazing and I am so blessed to be part of their learning journey.
My Project
The students in my classroom have a love and passion for technology. Within the walls of my classroom, the students and I have decided one day a week for them to use this technology, which is shared within 6 fourth grade classes. With this donation computers, the students will be able to work with online programs more often. These programs include i-Ready, Reflex, and IXL. All these online resources give me a better idea of where my students are with their learning process on the new knowledge and skills that they have learned in the classroom during whole group instruction.
