My Project

Students need more mental health support than ever following the COVID-19 pandemic. This project will help provide comfortable seating in my office, mental health and social-emotional resources, and fidget tools to help them be successful in the classroom. Students can pick affirmation cards and help them feel more positive about themselves. They can relax and regroup mentally before rejoining their classmates when needing a break or working with the school psychologist. They can bring calming tools with them to class as needed to help them get back to academics. They can work through mental health curricula with a trained professional.
