My Project

I teach students who get kicked out of their home schools, usually for drugs, weapons, violence, or a creative combination thereof. Many of them do not have creative outlets to express themselves, and our school is a half day program that focuses on core subjects.

I have taken it upon myself to teach music, but, I need some instruments that students can check out of school.

Nothing is harder for me than a student with talent but an inability to progress musically, as they do not have access to a guitar. I would like to have a guitar in class that students can use and that I can reward to my most diligent guitar student at the end of the year so that he or she can continue their musical journey.
