My Project

Dos Mundos, Un Corazón: A Celebration of Culture and Language" is an end-of-year showcase by students in a Dual Language Immersion Program, where learning is divided equally between English and Spanish. Throughout the year, students explore both languages while gaining a deeper understanding of Mexican culture. This culminating event highlights their journey through authentic dress, traditional Mexican dances, music, and cultural presentations. Students demonstrate their bilingual skills and cultural knowledge by performing in both languages, creating a meaningful connection between language learning and cultural appreciation. The project fosters pride in diverse heritage, encourages cross-cultural understanding, and celebrates the richness of Mexico’s traditions.
