My Project
The mobile art storage rack will be used to transport art supplies from classroom to classroom. The table caddies will make it easy for students to have needed pencils, glue, scissors, etc. close at hand.
I work at a small K-12 public school, and we share classrooms which makes it difficult to have fixed storage for crafts or art supplies.
Currently, we do not have any sort of formal art program for high school students. I am pleased to have received approval to teach art exploration classes starting next year.
I'm so excited to provide a way for students to express themselves in ways other than verbal or written. Art is a great way to help students with emotional regulation and to foster greater self acceptance.
