Doodling Scribble Bots: Robotic Picassos!

Help me give my students Scribble-bots and batteries to build their own robot that can also create a piece of art!

My Project

Almost all of my students love to doodle and now they can create a robot that does the doodling for them. These DIY Doodling Scribble Bots will allow my students to build their own robots by providing them with the materials to safely make their own circuits. This will all be done safely without having to solder or having to know a lot about wiring. This is just perfect for my intermediate-grade STEM students.

These doodling robots that they make will allow my students to explore the world of robotics while creating a piece of art that they can share with others.

The students will be able to change how the robot doodles by allowing them to reposition the parts to create different movements. Each robot created will produce a different doodle based on how the student placed the pieces on their robot. Creativity will be inspired and they will want to further explore how robots work and dive even deeper into the world of robotic engineering.
