Help me give my students interactive notebook materials and classroom anchor charts that will help them soar with gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As part of a small school, I teach science to a varied group of students across three grade bands without support. That includes students performing below grade level in reading and/or writing, ELL students and students with special needs. Access to Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to purchase resources for my students that I cannot create on my own- and unfortunately for my students, I'm not very artistic. In my classroom, doodle notes and anchor charts have proven to be tried and true tools that help my students successfully navigate new topics. Not all students are naturally artistic or skilled at note taking, but all can benefit from stepping away from the traditional note taking format.
Help gift my students with beautiful, cohesive notes and informative anchor charts that meet them at their various levels.
Fill in the blank anchor charts and doodle notes allow students to be creative without the pressure of artistic ability. The built in differentiation allows students to work at their own pace rather than stressing to keep up with (or slow down for) their classmates. My students favorite accounts are Doodle Notes from The Morehouse Magic and anchor charts from The Weird Science Teacher. Having access to premade and accurate anchor charts and notes will also free up more time for me to work on the other myriad of things that my students need.
