This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Coming off of the success of our recent Barbie Bungee Day, we have decided to create another fun and engaging day of learning about mathematical concepts.

With your help, we would like to have a schoolwide Pi Day on Thursday, March 14th.

During this special day, students will determine the diameter, radius, and circumference of of their own donut. They will also determine what the area would be in a donut without a hole, the radius and area of a donut hole, and the area of the actual donut. We appreciate your support in making these extra events possible for ALL students.
