My Project

My students range from kindergarten to fifth grade, and they are exceptional! They are always eager to learn. I get a sense of happiness each day when I am greeted by their beautiful faces. I love their joy and enthusiasm for school. This year, we are in need of more tools to help us adequately communicate our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. After experiencing such devastating emotions from the past tornadoes and storms, we are in need of positivity and with your contributions I am hoping to help increase student morale. My students have been directly impacted by tornadoes and other storms in our area. We have experienced low water pressure, trees being damaged, and several of my students’ houses were destroyed. I am requesting affirmation posters, positive feedback pencils, attendance bracelets, PBIS rewards, and other social-emotional learning materials to help students deal with their emotions and feelings. I am also requesting decor for their sneaker ball to ensure that my students have an opportunity to enjoy themselves and forget about their “home life” at their sneaker ball. I am also requesting colored paper and other materials to do fun crafting projects to enhance their creativity, decision-making, and team-building skills.
