This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school has almost 800 students from preschool through 8th grade. My classroom has a diverse group of students who enjoy exercising and staying active as they learn. My students understand the importance of being actively involved in their learning and would love to have some equipment to help promote their gross motor development.
My Project
My students live in a city with some rainy, snowy, and cold winter months where I need to keep them dry and warm inside when it is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. I would love to provide them with some fun, non-competitive, and collaborative equipment they can use indoors to continue staying active. This equipment will help provide them with some fun learning that not only helps their gross motor development, but also encourages sharing and promotes a healthy lifestyle. Help me provide my students with some fun and exciting equipment they can use indoors to stay active and learn to work together to strengthen our classroom community!
