My Project
As we prepare for a new school year, it's the perfect time to encourage positive habits from the start. We understand that students will have challenges - whether with classwork or peer interactions - and it's essential they learn to manage their emotions effectively.
One of my goals this year is to help students practice self-regulation.
I want to teach them how to pause and calm themselves before reacting in a disruptive way. That's where the Pop Its come in! Each student will receive a Pop It to keep in their desk or attached to their backpack. Along with it, they'll get a short note explaining how to use it as a calming tool.
The idea is simple: take a moment, breathe, and reset - before you "pop off." Let's give our students the tools they need to succeed both academically and emotionally this year.
