I teach at a Title I school, which means that a large percentage of our students are living economically disadvantaged. Our resources are already scarce and since we were devastated by COVID-19 many my students have missed so much school. Many of my students are falling behind and are having difficulty catching up. Despite these set backs, the students are willing and eager to learn and excel in their education in the fourth grade.
My Project
The bluetooth pad will allow me to walk around my room, working in the Power Zone, to better assist my students on the learning journey. I won't be stuck behind a computer so I can control my screen. The students will also be able to "go up to the board" to show work but still be able to sit at their desk. The printer will allow me to make quick copies that I need for my students without having to stop class to run all the way across the school for one or two copies at a time.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
