I will be teaching a second grade class of about 25 students this upcoming Fall. Although I do not know my exact students yet, I have worked in this school over the past year and absolutely love the children I have met and worked with thus far. We are located in a suburban area about 20 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah. Our school is only 3 years old and situated in a blossoming new up and coming area.
My Project
As I've been preparing for my first year of teaching, I have seen so many useful projects on Teachers Pay Teachers but have not yet had the funding to purchase them! I have about 10 different projects that I've personally picked out that I would love to purchase for my second grade class this upcoming Fall.
I am so impressed by the creativity and helpful tools that are readily available to teachers on the internet and I would love to allow my students the opportunity to benefit from these creative and exciting projects accessible through Teachers Pay Teachers.
Although I consider myself a creative person, I definitely do not have the skill set that many of these graphic designers have (nor do I have the time) and I am thrilled to be able to provide my students with engaging task cards, activities for centers, and a classroom decor pack that I can customize to the needs of my class. I am confident that this project will benefit our classroom by providing students with the opportunity to participate in engaging activities that really solidify their understanding of concepts taught.
