This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are super curious learners who are eager to work and learn in small groups. It is important for our students to return to working collaboratively on activities and projects. Since COVID, I understand our students really require flexible seating options and a meeting space where they can work on small group projects.
Now more than ever, students need to be working together, creating, communicating, problem solving and inspiring one another during small group instruction.
Students will be able to use this space, or table for financial literacy projects, guided reading, math groups, science experiments and much more!
The book, Lily Learns About Needs and Wants will be used to teach the students about basic financial literacy concepts and help them to be wise about money. Then, each small group of students will work together to create needs and wants posters!
