My Project
Please help me give my scholars a richer math experience. The use of a scientific calculator will help my students learn the ease of use and help them navigate the world of exponents and roots in a more comprehensive manner. The TI-30XIIS being battery and solar powered gives help for a sustained use and extends the life of the calculator.
I want to ensure my students have a clear understanding and can use the tools of math efficiently, such as a calculator.
The use of a scientific calculator will help to reduce the stress of making mistakes and increase their confidence in their ability to do math. So, many of our urban scholar don't do well in math because the don't believe in their ability to do the math. Small mistakes can erode their confidence. I believe learning to use a calculator can eliminate many of these mistakes while helping to boost their confidence.
