My Students
My students are eager young learners who want to explore and learn. They bring a high level of energy and curiosity to the classroom. Many of them are English language learners, with diverse backgrounds, and they see learning as an opportunity to achieve and grow.
My students enjoy doing big work that challenges their abilities.
They are hardworking and determine to get the best education possible. They enjoy setting goals and My goal is to provide the support necessary for them to continue to achieve. Finally, I think my students are beautiful and they deserve the best education possible.
My Project
My students are reading independently and in book clubs. While reading, each reader is doing big work such as identifying the problems, analyzing characters and identifying character traits. Students also notice if the character changed throughout the story and how this affects the plot. In addition to this, students look at the characters relationship with others in the story. Students also use story elements to create a story mountains. Identifying the problem in a story and how a character deals with it is something that readers do as well. Students are reading a text deeply. They are trying to find out why a character behaves in a certain way. My students are reading to get a good understanding of who the characters are in the text they are reading.
