This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been very interested in the Dogman series. They have been asking to read them, one after another. I want to make sure that I feeding into their literary interest so that they can continue to find joy in reading. The Dogman series has been a hit in my classroom but I do not have the books in Spanish and about half of my class is Spanish speaking. They want to participate.

I am so excited because my students are asking for the books.

I have not had to beg them to read. They want it. I want to keep the momentum so that we can level up as a class.

My students are special because they love to learn. They bring me so much joy and make me feel like I am doing something worthy. They love to learn and love to have fun. I have had a great time teaching them this year.
