This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love working with my students in our dual-language classroom, 50% English / 50% Spanish. They are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn. However, many of them face challenges in building their reading skills, especially in Spanish. This project will provide them with comic books from the Dog Man series, which are not only fun but also highly engaging. By offering these books in Spanish, I can help my students develop their reading fluency, improve comprehension, and foster a love for reading. The humor and adventure in the Dog Man books will motivate them to read more, and the colorful illustrations will support their understanding of the language. This project will make learning Spanish both enjoyable and meaningful.
