This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 5th graders are passionate about their physical education time! We plan their P.E. time to allow them to learn a variety of sports throughout the school year.
One of their favorite games to play is dodgeball!
They've learned the specific rules, how to be fair in the game, and how to work with one another while playing on teams. There is just one thing, they are playing with various soft foam balls that are different sizes, have the plastic coating peeling off, or are missing chunks of foam. The dodgeballs I will be requesting will help us have equipment that is all one size and in good working condition.
