Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school year is progressing, we are always looking for ways to enhance our student's learning and success. With parallel teaching and using a projector and screen, it is difficult at times to emphasize important pieces of information that are displayed on the screen. Often times key information is misunderstood and students show difficulty understanding the task.

Providing a document camera will allow students to visually see specific pieces of information to increase their learning for the targeted skill.

This document will allow the teacher to make the lesson more interactive, engaging, and visually appealing. Students can also have the opportunity and join in and become an active participants in the learning process by showing their thinking to other students in the class.

Receiving two projectors will allow the co-teachers in the class to both be able to showcase and enhance their lessons simultaneously. These can also be used for more explicit small group rotations and centers throughout the school day.
