I have 23 wonderful first graders who love school.
They are outgoing, caring, and genuinely gracious students. My students strive to learn more and more each day. This love for learning has motivated me to grow as an educator and maintain a classroom that fosters student learning.
My Project
Do you remember that teacher who told you she had eyes in the back of her head? If a document camera were in your classroom, you would have never heard your teacher say that. Document cameras allow teachers to give instruction, show examples of student work, and even show exact pages or models of what the students are working on by placing the paper under the document camera while never turning their back on the students. This not only makes an amazing visual aide for students, but helps tremendously with classroom management as well.
Every teacher I know who has a document camera has said they could not imagine teaching without one.
All students will benefit from having a document camera in the classroom, but this will especially help the visual learners who so often struggle in the classroom.
