Our school has just opened Fall of 2017. My classroom is the language arts side of the dual immersion program in first grade. I am wanting to incorporate as much technology as possible for new classroom.
With large class sizes in dual immersion it will be helpful to have the students engaged in technology.
Being a STEM school we are incorporating technology and engineering into the daily lessons. A document camera would allow modeling and student interactions on ways to improve their work.
My Project
Having a document camera in the classroom will allow my students to share and collaborate as a class using technology. They will be able to share their writing and interact with the class about correct writing techniques.
With such large class sizes a document camera will allow me the ability to model my writing expectations to the class.
A large focus of my dual immersion class is writing. By using a document camera I can model correct sentence structure and collaborate with the students on ways to improve writing their skills.
