Help me give my students the Ipevo 5-883-4-01-100 V HDMI/USB Dual Mode 8 Document Camera for the classroom to project texts, math manipulatives, science experiments, student work samples, and so much more!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students bring their best work and effort to class every single day. Many have only been in the country for two years or less. They already had to adjust to so many new things and leave so many other things behind.
I want their learning to be a positive experience in their life when so much around them still seems new and uncertain.
They deserve a classroom environment where they feel welcome, including all the tools they need to succeed. Most of them are still learning the language so visual aides as we work are a MUST!!
My Project
The Ipevo HDMI/USB dual Document Camera will kick my students’ learning up a notch. Even though we have an amazing Promethean Board in the classroom, when we work with other materials, it’s hard for me to show them to the class. I usually have to walk around student by student which takes away VALUABLE class time.
This document camera will allow us to GAIN learning time as I can show the entire class the text, manipulative, and/or experiment at the same time.
Giving students the chance to observe, understand, and ask questions at a slower pace.
It will also open the floor for students to share their work, illustrations, and projects creating a collaborative learning environment.
