Document Camera for Virtual Teaching

Help me give my students the best virtual learning experience by providing a document camera for them to see what I am writing during math and writing lessons.

My Students

My students are in the Dual Language Immersion program in our district. I will be their online English teacher this year as their parents have opted to have them conduct school in a virtual format due to health concerns regarding COVID-19.

My students are a bright and talented bunch who are determined to succeed in both languages!

They have been in the program since 1st grade and are working toward proficiency in their second language. It is very inspiring to witness and I feel honored to be their teacher!

My Project

All of the students in my class this year will be learning virtually from home. It is much easier for students to follow along with math lessons when they can see what I am writing and do the same in their math books.

Our online math books are not editable, therefore my students won't be able to see what I am writing as I teach without the help of a document camera.

While it is nice to have online tools at our fingertips, my students still need the benefit of seeing how equations are written out by watching what their teacher does. Because this is a virtual classroom, it is imperative that they still get this type of instruction.
