My students need a document camera with a lens and cable as a way of seeing my demonstrations when we are doing art projects. The larger classes can not fit around a table to see my demonstrations!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Heine's classroom raised $188
This project is fully funded
My Students
Demonstrating is a key component in art class. Remember when you were a student and your whole class crammed around the table to see what the teacher was doing. How great would it have been to just look up on a smart board to see exactly what they were doing!
We are an International Baccalaureate Elementary school with over 850 students.
Our class sizes vary from 23 students to 29 students in a class from Kindergarten-5th grade. Our school population is a good mix of Caucasian, African American, Asian and other.
My Project
Ok, time for a demonstration, everyone come stand around the table so you can see how to paint this project. Don't lean on the table, the person next to you can't see. Stop pushing the student behind you. "I can't see!" This is what happens in art when you want to demonstrate how to do something.
If we had a document camera EVERYONE would be able to stay in their seats and see the demonstration up on the smart board!!!!!
Students will have more time to work on their projects if we will no longer need to get up and stand around a table to see how to do our projects.
Also, students will be able to see small details that would have been hard for everyone to see before.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
