My Students

Our students attend a community school in an urban neighborhood in central Minnesota. My students are excited about learning about the world around them; however, it can be difficult to give them meaningful experiences without adequate funding. I love my amazing students and want to give them the very best. This year our school is combining with another school to make a preK through the 2nd-grade building. Our students will be impacted for years to come by being able to see where they started.

The amazing students that I work with are a wide variety of students with varying needs.

My students have such drive and motivation that inspires me each and every day.

My Project

Every winter we have a Bear theme as one of our learning units and to enhance that unit we would love to transform our dramatic play area into a Teddy Bear Hospital! The supplies requested for this project would help the Teddy Bear Hospital come to life. The Melissa and Doug dress up costumes would allow our student the opportunity to take on the roll of the Doctor. The doctor kits and tools would allow our student explore items that doctors use to care for their patients.

We love brining real life opportunities to our classroom and what better way to introduce our preschool friends to the medical field then to let them take on the role of the doctor!

All supplies would be used in the classroom and remain in the classroom for this year and many years to come.
