My Project

My role as a teacher goes far beyond teaching my students to read, count and get along with each other. Teaching the whole child requires introducing them to things that will support their overall well-being.

I want my students to have a strong understanding of what it means to be healthy and well, for themselves and others!

Dressing as a healthcare professional will help them to have a clear vision of the work many of them will do in the future. In the classroom, we will be learning about bone health, phlebotomy, dental care and the role of a veterinarian. I know my students will be even more invested in learning about how to take care of their bodies inside and out while being fully dressed as a doctor, and I know these resources will add so much value to our lessons and learning!
