My Students

I am a third grade teacher with a variety of students. I am always looking for ways to reach all of my students' learning needs.

My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds and represent various ethnicities, learning styles, and ability levels.

My students are hard workers, very busy, enjoy working together, and love using technology. Every day we are learning new ideas and applying our learning during hands-on activities. We love to work around the room during partner work and stations.

My students are problem solvers and are eager to try new things. They enjoy having a choice in their learning and are developing their independence every day.

My Project

My students use Chromebooks every day in the classroom. Through Google Classroom, iReady, and Studies Weekly, they have access to text, videos, and activities that allow them to learn science, social studies, math, and literacy content in a variety of ways. Because many of these resources involve sound, my students need to use headphones to listen to the audio in these formats.

With these headphones, my students will be able to use a variety of media without the sound distracting other students in the classroom.

My students learn best when they are presented with information in different formats, especially with the assistance of technology! I am also requesting a gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers. I will use this to provide extra resources to my students beyond textbooks.
