This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Do you remember the feeling you had when you first fell in love with reading? This project will help my students experience this feeling as well. Though they are teenagers, many of my students claim, "I don't read." They haven't found a book that has made them want to keep reading. This project will help them develop a love for reading.
My students are currently incarcerated, and this project will allow them to escape to a world where they can learn, grow, and gain confidence in their reading abilities.
