My Project
Right now I have 9 students that are fluent Spanish speakers and several of those students also read very well in Spanish, but struggle to read in English.
With these books, my Spanish reading and speaking students will be able to choose from books they can read and enjoy.
It also gives them the opportunity to be able to compete in accelerated reading along with all of the other students.
My students helped me to choose these books and I believe these books will make them more confident readers! The only way to be a better reader is to read and I know they are looking forward to getting new books.
