it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright and curious. They love learning and enjoy reading.
I want to provide both non fiction and fiction reading material on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) for my students.
Some of the books I am requesting teach STEM subjects in a fun and and engaging way: cartoons about science, books about STEM leaders such as Dorothy Vaughn and Mary Leakey and books about climate change for elementary students. These books will spark curiosity about important, relevant topics. They will also help my students explore possible career choices in STEM.
