This year I am going to be the school’s literacy coach and am so excited about working with students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. This quote summarizes the kids in our school. "You were made to be awesome," by Kid President. The children in our school are beyond amazing and will make a special impact on the world. Their enthusiasm for reading and writing is incredible, and it is amazing to watch their eyes light up when they are reading a book.
My Project
It is so important to build a love of reading for all children. The key to building readers is to provide books that capture their interest and make them love reading. My goal is to provide the teachers in my school books, so they can build their classroom libraries. Children will be able to check out books to read in the classroom and at home. This will provide them with books, so they can build a genuine love of reading, stamina, fluency, and vocabulary skills. Help our students foster a love of reading and to become readers.
