This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Children are ever-growing and ever-learning. Their level of understanding and acceptance is evolving with every book they read, every person they meet, and every experience they go through.
The coronavirus pandemic may have us separated, but our love and understanding of one another is closer than ever.
My Project
Students love to learn about different kinds of people. They are open and empathetic to what makes humans unique. Our books about different cultures, gender expressions, and families will continue to provide read aloud opportunities! These opportunities will transcend our distance learning limitations and plant seeds of kindness and humanity.
Children want to learn about and understand people's differences and our diversity and inclusion book list will give them just that!
