Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our High School is one of the most diverse high schools in Connecticut. The students at BMHS will greatly benefit from these edited science kits.

Most kits from major biological supply companies do not pay special attention nor mention the achievements of people of color and minorities.

In celebration of black history we will celebrate the achievements of minorities and pay special homage to those scientists whose achievements have not had the attention that they need and deserve. My students will benefit to learn about a diverse group of scientists and will help bridge the gap created by not seeing enough people of color celebrated for their invention, innovation and dedication to the advancements of science.
