These are multicultural preschool students in a brand new school. We currently have many 1st time students. They are eager to learn and explore their environment. Sharing is an essential life skill that we work on daily. My students are kind and inquisitive, thoughtful and extremely social. They love to work together exploring, discovering and questioning their surroundings.
My Project
Please help me get some new books to represent the multicultural make up of my students. These books will help them gain incredible language, gain self esteem from seeing kids like them in the stories, and help develop a love of literacy.
Whether it's flipping through the books during quiet centers or listening during story time, my students love books and stories.
They love to retell them and make connections to real life.
I thoroughly enjoy watching them at their young age treat the books with care and want to "read " their favorite books to their friends. Thank you for helping make my library more diverse.
