Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will enhance our classroom by adding new, diverse literature to support student choice and show students the power of loving to read. When books are added to our classroom it brings about such excited and intrigue as students want to explore new stories and connect to their reading.
The 3rd grade diversity and math literature will really interest my readers this year as math concepts are always taught through numbers and never through story telling.
With these new books, students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level and at a topic of math or diversity that interests them.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
