Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Books are essential for students because they foster a deeper understanding of subjects, encourage critical thinking, and improve literacy skills. They offer students the opportunity to explore new ideas, expand their vocabulary, and develop a love for learning. Books provide a rich source of knowledge and perspectives, allowing students to engage with content at their own pace. Additionally, books promote concentration and focus, which can be more beneficial than digital distractions. By incorporating books into their learning experience, students gain access to a wide range of educational materials that support their academic growth and personal development.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
