My Project

I am a preschool teacher working at the border of the Navajo Reservation, where my classroom primarily consists of Native American students. To enhance our library, I am seeking to acquire more picture books that reflect diversity, with a particular focus on Native American stories.

I would like to ensure that each student has the opportunity to own a copy of a Native American picture book, specifically "Fry Bread." This will allow my students to connect with the story and see representations of themselves in print and literature.
