My Students

I teach at a dynamic school that focuses on performing arts and environmental science. My students are extremely diverse and come from all areas, socioeconomic status, and backgrounds.

My students love to learn by enjoying hands-on, active lessons and are driven by technology and reading.

They are amazing students, leaders, and individuals! Our students are leaders who follow the 7 Habits of Happy Kids. They take initiative and use the habits to shape their lives and their learning. They lead to succeed!

My Project

I teach Language Arts and Social Studies to all kinds of learners who are at a wonderful age to dig deeper into history and social justice while developing a love for all people.

Every child deserves to have access to books that they can see themselves in.

My goal is to diversify my library so that every child feels welcome and important while learning about all types of people. I plan to do the #classroombookaday challenge where I will read a picture book aloud every single day to promote community, discussion, and reading engagement.
