My Project
I work in a kindergarten to eighth grade school in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. As our students are a very diverse population I wanted to have a section in our school library for any students who may want to learn about different cultures and embrace some of the similarities as well as differences between multiple perspectives. Having diversified books available will better help our students will help our students grow and learn about many different cultures, races, and religions then their own. I believe giving the students' the chance to read about other cultures can only make them excel that much more!
