This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The parents of my students can't necessarily get them the newest titles in middle grade books, but at least I can try by receiving the support of others who'd like to make a difference in a child's life. These books will be used to start a lending library for middle school students. We currently do not have a school library, and I'd love to initiate it for our school with titles our students would actually have an interest in.
Being in middle school can be hard to navigate, but books can be an avenue that can support middle grade students with coming of age and more.
