This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As Stephen King once said, "Books are a uniquely portable magic" this enables students to transport themselves to distant places that can be quite literally beyond their imagination. Through adding classic and diverse books in the classroom library, the students I teach will be able to explore different worlds, learn about different people, and discover a love for learning. These books will help students develop reading fluency and expand their vocabulary.

The students walking through my classroom door come from diverse backgrounds, have unique experiences about the world, and deserve to have books that represent their differences.
