My Students

My students are from communities that are underserved. In the process of building relationships, cultural relevance predominately African American students extend to what others may consider menial. Basics are of most importance for my students to feel appreciated through My students are lovable and cared for, as I also grew up in a stifling environment that needs emotional comforts along with content core learning opportunities is increasingly straining during these pandemic years.

My students are energetic, brave, and curious.

Appreciating diversity is key in addressing prejudice and preconceived stereotypes. I believe each deserves an opportunity to be enthused through content and appropriate resources.

My Project

The students I serve will feel a sense of pride when illustrating and representing their culture and experiences using representations and tones that best represent their heritage. Art is high on their participatory list.

However, dignity in representation may equip all children to respect diversity snd community among all.

Ideas that can culminate in raising knowledge levels through expressive content may channel pleasantries towards oneself and another's attitude. Being able to insert themselves into learnings for greater understandings is commended in the classroom to gain each highest participatory level for oneself.
