Our high school is home to some of the most driven, appreciative, and inspiring students around. Approximately 2200+ students attend our high school, established in 1976. Our kids come from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. At our school, you'll see that we have a terrific program supporting spectrum folks and those with other special needs and abilities, an ELL program, robust AP and honors classes, and dedicated athletes. We're the most diverse (and best!) school in the district. It's an honor to be the librarian, attempting to bring books and technology that will further inspire and support these kids. My Project
Our students are voracious readers of graphic novels, so we would love to expand that section of our library to include more titles that offer cultural and historical perspectives. Other titles address our need for high-interest new books for readers across a variety of genres.
Many of our graphic novel fans enjoy browsing for new books, and this array of artistic and thought-provoking works is bound to expand their understanding of the world and its people.
High-interest titles will invite readers to find enjoyable and compelling stories. Both types of books in this book are bound to get a lot of attention and appreciation in the library!
