Help me give my students a diverse and creative classroom library! My early finishers love to go to my reading corner and pick out a book to read while waiting for their peers to finish.
I teach some of the most creative, wonderful and inspiring students. They are kind, inquisitive and love to read! Even in the art room, we encourage reading. I teach several literacy-based lessons that include a book leading up to their art project.
Unfortunately, my classroom library is outdated and I would love to add some diversity to my reading selection.
My students love picking up books that reflect themselves and they get especially excited when they see someone who looks like them on the cover!
The diverse books that I have requested will be placed in our special book basket that will be shared by all grades. I know each book will inspire and encourage creativity within the walls of Mrs. Frederickson's art room!
