My Project

These books will allow my students to read books that actually reflect their identities and are written by people who hold those identities. Not only that these books are super engaging. For students who don't hold these identities these books can help students learn empathy and a world beyond themselves.

My goal is to help students who are reluctant to read, engage with reading.

When students see themselves reflected in books in a genuine way, that are often more likely to read.

My students are special because they are curious learners who want to change the world. These books will help them on that path.
