My Students

My students are readers! We have been building a diverse classroom library and now, we are ready to expand! Students have read through so many titles and they are looking for new and exciting reads. Please help us keep our library fresh and reading interest high.

My Project

Ever since stocking the library with the first round of diverse and modern books, the students have fallen in love again with reading. Students are finished with independent books and are eagerly awaiting new books to arrive. They get so excited every time a new book hits the shelf. They love to see books with cover art that reflect them and their interests, as well as books written by authors that they feel really gets who they are as young people. This book request is another attempt to spruce up our classroom library and keep encouraging reading by keeping students' spirits high. By having fresh and new books, students are motivated to read the next new book.
