My Project
The books selected for this project will allow my students to see characters in the books who come from similar cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds as them and help them make connections to those books.
Students will also discover how unique and diverse we are as a community, as well as explore the experiences and overcoming obstacles of various admirable characters.
With this project I hope to continue strengthening acceptance and inclusion, as well continue nourishing self-esteem and pride in my students. My students will truly enjoy reading all the wonderful books included in this project.
