Help me give my students books which explore topics of an inclusivity. With these books and materials I can engage in topics with students that share perspectives that may be different from ours.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Although our students are coming to us from diverse and disadvantage backgrounds they are hardworking, bright and creative individuals with strong motivation and resilience.
I work in a community where 89% of our students are on free and reduced lunch.
With these books, this project will create an environment in the classroom of belonging and connections by producing conversations that are relevant and meaningful to our students.
I am currently working on my administrative credential with an emphasis on equity and school improvement. This project would contribute to bridging the Equity GAP and help improve our student achievement.
