My Project

My students cannot stand sitting at their desks. They constantly ask to sit elsewhere in the classroom or in the carpeted hallway. As their teacher, I can't say I enjoy the desks either. I can't stand how messy and full of junk they get or how territorial the students have been (as the desks are shared between two classes.) The desks also take up a lot of space, and seating charts haven't rectified any seating-based issues thus far. So, we want to ditch the desks!

This project aims to rectify some of the issues I'm seeing in relation to desk-based seating by providing flexible seating options like floor cushions, bean bag chairs, and a collaborative table space.

There isn't much more to it than that! By supporting this project, you'll be supporting my students in their quest for more freedom and flexibility in choosing where they learn best!
